A few words
Before meeting Iwona in 2002 I had not done any traveling beyond Canada.
Our first trip together was to Sicily, which, as my first international vacation, remains uniqely special to me.
Living in Vienna for two years, and visiting Iwona while she continued to work in Germany, allowed us to do a lot of traveling around Europe.We didn't get to every place we wanted to but we certainly put some miles on our vehicle. Many of theses photos are from that period.
Sorting through thousands of photos is no quick task, so if you want to be notified when new photos have been added, let me know.
2013
Several years earlier, Iwona found this Polish outfit that offered Carribbean cruises on a catamaran. We loved the idea of a cruise on a small boat, so this intrigued us. We finally took the trip in 2013 and had a great time. Only eight people and the captain, sailing around sheltered shores for 11 or so days. Our boat got robbed on our second day but we carried on and managed to have a wonderful time.
Took a lot of pictures so I divided this into mutiple galleries.
